Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using JobIQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and FA3Tech ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of service

JobIQ is a SaaS platform that aggregates job listings from third-party sources, scores them against your profile using AI, generates cover letters, and assists with job application tracking. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier.

3. Account registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service beyond normal use.
• Use the AI features to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
• Resell or redistribute the Service or your access to it without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
• Free trials, where offered, require a valid payment method. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• We reserve the right to change pricing on 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. AI-generated content

Cover letters, interview preparation, and other AI-generated outputs are provided as drafts to assist your job search. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content. We make no warranty that AI outputs are accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any specific application.

7. Third-party job listings

Job listings are sourced from third-party sites. We do not verify the accuracy, legitimacy, or availability of any listing. We are not a party to any employment relationship and accept no liability for the outcome of any job application.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and original content, is owned by FA3Tech and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., your CV). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job listings are accurate or up to date.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FA3Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of earnings, data, or employment opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
